Is it me, or is the Presidential Election really a matter of voting for the candidate that we can stomach the most?  It is a matter of deciding on who we can tolerate for four years, praying that someone we can really count on comes along in four years?  I see so many flaws in both the current candidates in either the promises that they are making, or the job that they have done, that I almost would rather take a pass, than bet, I mean vote!

Now I know that many people are going to attack me for not doing my part as a Black American and automatically laying down my vote and support for President Obama.  I am obligated to support our Black Brother in his quest for a second term as president.  It’s just what I am supposed to do. Don’t worry about the fact that he has not improved the economy.  Don’t worry that he has cut military spending to weaken our military and its’ ability to effectively protect our freedom.  Don’t worry that when he spoke at Georgetown University he asked them to cover or remove a reference to Jesus in the back drop behind him (review article here).  If you can’t be associated with Jesus because it may offend some of your supports, then that’s a major strike against you right off the bat in my eyes.

Then you have Mitt Romney and his so-called “business experience”.  When he was with Bain and Capital, he was part of a company that bought up struggling companies that send their business to overseas and employ locals at pennies on the dollar so that they could become profitable, only to sell them off. (review article and video here)  To take away jobs from the American people, all in the name of making himself rich.  They bought companies in this country, only to harvest them at a significant profit.  That’s just business many say, but at what expense?  Job’s for the American workers.  The same workers he is now promising to build the economy for.  The same workers he is promising to employ with new jobs.  And as a Mormon, what does he believe about Jesus??

Yeah, I think this election shapes up to, who can we tolerate the most to lead us into the next four years?
